Gabi Grecko in hospital amid claims of split with Geoffrey Edelsten

BREAKING: MODEL Gabi Grecko has been taken to hospital this morning, but denies her romance with boyfriend Geoffrey Edelsten is over.

MODEL Gabi Grecko, who has been hospitalised this morning, has denied splitting from boyfriend Geoffrey Edelsten.

Grecko has told the Herald Sun that the couple were still together despite earlier reports that their romance was on the rocks.

She said they had almost broken up this morning.

Grecko, 25, was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne little more than an hour after appearing on the Sunrise program this morning.

Grecko has been in contact with the Herald Sun from the hospital this morning, confirming she is likely to be released shortly.

The nature of her injuries is unknown.

Paul Bentley, a spokesman for Ambulance Victoria, said: “We had a call to that address at about 8am this morning.

“A woman was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a stable condition.”

Grecko told Sunrise she had caught Edelsten, 71, texting other women and had left him.

Just yesterday, Grecko lashed out on social media with a photograph of her and Edelsten.

“Sometimes the one you love betrays you the most,” she wrote accompanying the tweet with a picture from happier times.

But this morning she has denied the relationship is over, despite coming close to a break-up.

Grecko made headlines after many raised eyebrows on the remarkable resemblance she had with Edelsten’s ex, Brynne, before the women took part in a public catfight on national TV and radio.

“I think ... I don’t know what I want to say, I don’t want to say ... I just think that she’s maybe a little obvious,” Grecko said earlier.

“Her style is just kind of purposely out there and not strategically fashionable. It just kind of like crazy, and a little tacky.”

Edelsten then declared he was over the moon about his new romance with the model, 47 years his junior.

“I’m very much so. She’s delightful. I’m very happy,” he said.

This month, Brynne showed off her new beefcake man Red Ra, who is the complete opposite to Edelsten.

The buff, young dark featured hunk posted a number of shirtless selfies on social media.
