Ewan McGregor reportedly dumped by Fargo co-star lover Mary Elizabeth Winstead

EWAN McGregor has reportedly split from his Fargo co-star lover — the woman he left his wife of 22 years for.

EWAN McGregor has reportedly been dumped by his younger girlfriend Mary Elizabeth Winstead, the actor who he left his wife of 22 years for.

The Scottish actor filed for divorce from his wife Eve Mavrakis, the mother of his four daughters, six months after he was spotted kissing his Fargo co-star in a London restaurant.

Ewan McGregor, receiving best international actor at the Golden Camera awards in Hamburg last week, has reportedly split from his younger lover.

American actor Winstead, 33, has reportedly ditched 46 year-old McGregor amid claims she hated being labelled a “homewrecker”.

McGregor’s wife Eve, a production designer, was left devastated over the shock breakup, which the Trainspotting actor blamed on “irreconcilable differences”.

The couple, who had a whirlwind romance, married in a small village in the east of France in 1995 after meeting on the set of British legal drama Kavanagh QC.

The Scottish actor left Eve Mavrakis, his wife of 22 years, for his Fargo co-star.

They went on to have three daughters — Clara, Anouk and Esther. They adopted a fourth daughter, Jamyan, from Mongolia in 2006.

The news of McGregor’s reported split from Winstead is revealed in the latest edition of US magazine Star.

When asked by the British media if she knew of the split, Eve Mavrakis said: “No, I hadn’t heard.”

A source told the magazine: “Mary hated being labelled a homewrecker and the embarrassment it caused her. It’s sad because a year ago Ewan and his wife were in great shape and then he decided to throw it all away for Mary. Now it looks like he’s lost them both for good.”

Before their shock split, McGregor and Mavrakis were considered to have one of Hollywood’s strongest marriages.

They split in May 2017 — the same month Winstead announced her separation from her husband of 15 years, director Riley Stearns.

In a blow to both their former partners, McGregor infamously thanked both his estranged wife and mistress last month when accepting the Golden Globe for best actor in a limited series for his role as twins Ray and Emmit Stussy in Fargo.

Ewan McGregor and Eve Mavrakis had four children together.

“I want to take a moment to just say thank you to Eve, who always stood by me for 22 years,” he said, “and our four children Clara, Esther, Jamyan and Anouk.”

He added: “And there wouldn’t have been any Ray without Mary Elizabeth Winstead.”
