‘Embarrassing’: Influencer breaks down after break-up with famous country singer

Usually, celebrities keep their breakups very private, but an influencer has just posted a tearful video after her famous ex announced their split.

Influencer Brianna LaPaglia has broken down crying while discussing being blindsided by ex-boyfriend and country star Zach Bryan.

Bryan, 28, announced the break-up on Instagram and said that he’d always “respect” and “love her” but they had parted ways.

“I have had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways,” he wrote.

“I am not perfect and never will be. Please respect Brianna’s privacy and space in this and if you have it in your heart, mine too.”

The couple had been together for over a year, and LaPaglia, 25, had been his date at the Grammys in February earlier this year.

LaPaglia responded to the break-up announcement by posting a YouTube video where she filmed himself tearfully recounting their break-up from her bathroom.

“I had no idea that post was going up. He didn’t text or call me. I just woke up to a bunch of texts being like, ‘Are you okay?’” she said.

The 25-year-old said she was completely “blindsided” by the break-up announcement and wanted some time to heal before it became public.

“See how swollen my face is? I’ve been crying for five days straight,” she said.

“God this is so embarrassing.”

LaPaglia revealed that she was so shocked by the break-up because she felt she’d given everything to the relationship

“How can you give every ounce of yourself to someone and then be discarded in a few days? Um, it is really heartbreaking,” she said.

LaPaglia said that she wasn’t ready to discuss the details right now, but she would eventually share more with fans.

“We broke up yesterday. I wasn’t ready to do anything,” she said.

LaPaglia assured her fans that she would be fine but stressed that she was just reeling from the hurt at the moment.

“I’m going to be okay. I’m going to be fine. I’m obviously just really hurt right now. I just didn’t want it to be public and I’m just feeling blindsided,” she said

LaPaglia is an influencer with over a million Instagram followers and 1.6 million followers on TikTok. She hosts the successful podcast PlanBri Uncut.

She’s previously shared online that she and Bryan had never had a causal relationship and things got serious pretty much as soon as they met.

“We started dating after our first date, got a dog, moved in together and never separated again,” she wrote.

To celebrate their one-year anniversary in July, Bryan posted a gushing statement about her on Instagram.

“Here’s to a year together. Happy anniversary and I love you so much Brianna,” he wrote.

”Just about one of the only people that makes me laugh anymore and often. Proud to call you my girl.”

The podcaster replied, “A year full of loving harder than I thought I was capable of and laughing louder than any year before. There isn’t a damn thing I wouldn’t do for ya. My person forever. I love you my Zachary.”
