Chrishell Stause slams award show over G Flip snub
After “too many tequilas,” US reality star Chrishell Stause has publicly slammed an award show for snubbing her Aussie partner, singer G Flip.
After “endless back and forth for weeks,” Chrishell Stause is calling out the People’s Choice Awards for not allowing her to bring partner G Flip to the event yesterday.
“I am on the sauce a bit so I will prob regret this later,” the Selling Sunset star wrote after the show, noting that she had “one too many tequilas” and didn’t “give a f**k”, Page Six reports.
The Netflix personality, 41, said: “People’s choice didn’t allow me to bring my partner to the awards. I could ONLY bring a plus-one if it was a cast member. WTF Sure this means I will never be nominated again but honestly f.u.
“EVERY single cast member invited and some had plus-ones,” the reality star, who has been publicly dating G Flip since May, went on to write. “I was nominated for best realty star and yet they said NO.”

Stause explained that while the 28-year-old singer was out of the country and “not able to go anyway,” she had been “fighting to get them in” before finding that out.
“If you are going to invite the whole cast of #sellingsunset @peopleschoice awards then why did my plus-one HAVE to be a cast member or otherwise told I do not get a plus-one?”
Stause asked: “Why would some have a plus-one and not me who was individually nominated from the cast?”
The former soap star wrote that she “hate[s] bulls**t,” concluding: “Clearly what I was told was not the reason and no one tried to clear it up. I love the idea of the ‘people’s choice’ but this Hollywood game is f***ed.”
Page Six has contacted the People’s Choice Awards for comment.
The actress was nominated in the Reality TV Star of 2022 category, which ultimately went to Khloe Kardashian. The Kardashians cast also beat out Selling Sunset for the Reality Show of 2022 award.
Stause walked the red carpet solo in a sparkling Laquan Smith gown, posting an Instagram Story of “queen” Shania Twain from inside the awards show.
Stause’s real estate agent co-stars also showed up to the event in style, including pregnant Heather Rae Young and her husband, Tarek El Moussa.
Stause debuted her relationship with G Flip earlier this year after starring in the Aussie’s Get Me Outta Here music video.
In July, she defended her relationship with the non-binary songwriter, telling her Instagram followers that their romance is “not scandalous”.
She wrote: “I fell in love with a person. … Love is a beautiful thing. I understand being on Selling Sunset entitles people to questions and my life in a way. But I am tired of this.”
