The couple dated for two years in 2009 – and even reportedly lived together for a year – before their split in 2011.
They met on the set of the movie Case 39 in 2006, which wasn’t released until 2009.
Media reported at the time of their split that Cooper’s burgeoning career, which exploded thanks to hit films including The Hangover and Limitless, was the reason behind their break-up, as Zellweger was trying to take a back seat from Hollywood.
Cooper’s love life has been a fodder for tabloids since his split last year with the mother of his child, Russian model Irina Shayk.
Their shock break-up after four years together came after romance rumours involving Cooper and his A Star is Born co-star, Lady Gaga.
The pair sent the rumour mill into overdrive this time last year thanks to their electric connection both on and off screen – and their saucy Oscars 2019 performance of award-winning hit, Shallow.
Despite reports this fractured his relationship with Shayk, it seems Cooper is on good terms with his ex, the two seen hanging out after the 2020 BAFTAs last week.
They share a two-year-old daughter, Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper.
