Beyonce and Jay Z no shows at Kim and Kanye wedding

A DAY after snubbing Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding, Beyonce took to Instagram today to wish the happy couple “a lifetime of unconditional love”.

Beyonce and Jay Z were notable no shows at the extravagant Italian wedding, choosing instead to spend the weekend relaxing in the Hamptons.

Proving that the nuptials were the last thing on her mind, Beyonce posted a selfie of her new hairstyle on Instagram just as the ceremony was getting underway in Florence.

It’s believed one of the reasons that Jay Z and Beyonce might have given the wedding a miss was to avoid an awkward run-in with designer Rachel Roy, whose close relationship with Jay Z is said to have been the catalyst for Solange Knowles’ bizarre attack on Jay Z at the Met Gala after party.

“They (Beyonce and Jay Z) weren’t sure about all of the media attention and it possibly being filmed for the show [KUWTK], but after the fight with Rachel at the Met, they decided to lay low,” a source told Hollywood Life.

“They wouldn’t mean it as a diss,” said another source.

“They … would rather stay home with Blue Ivy, prepare for their tour and just relax. A wedding like this would be a complete process that they really aren’t interested in getting involved in.”
