Are Charlize Theron and Sean Penn set to marry?

CHARLIZE Theron has been seen with a giant rock on her hand sparking rumours that she is set to marry boyfriend of seven months, Sean Penn.

CHARLIZE Theron has been seen with a giant rock on her hand sparking rumours that she is set to marry boyfriend of seven months, Sean Penn.

US Weekly reports that the pair are ready to tie the knot in South Africa and adopt another child.

Theron already has a two-year-old son, Jackson, who she adopted.

The 38-year-old fuelled the speculation wearing a gorgeous new rock on her left hand at the Los Angeles International Airport overnight.

A source close to Theron said it wasn’t an engagement ring but a friend of Penn’s said the couple“absolutely want to get married.”

It would be Theron's first marriage and Penn’s third. Theron split from actor Stuart Townsend in 2010 after more than a decade of dating, while Penn married Madonna in the ‘80s and shares daughter Dylan, 23, and son Hopper, 20, with ex-wife Robin Wright.

Theron has said her new relationship makes her very happy.

“It just kind of naturally happened, and before I knew it, I was in something that was making my life better — the people who really love me can see the effect it has had on me,” Theron told Vogue. She added to Esquire UK last month: “It was nice to be single and now it’s nice to be not single.”
