Anna Faris seen out with new boyfriend Michael Barrett after split from Chris Pratt
ANNA Faris has been spotted out with her new boyfriend, who she met on-set of her remake of the Goldie Hawn classic, Overboard.
ANNA Faris has been pictured for the first time with her new boyfriend Michael Barrett.
The House Bunny actress split from husband and fellow actor Chris Pratt in August after eight years of marriage.
The Sun reports that Faris appears to have found solace in the arms of 47-year-old cinematographer Barrett, who worked on her latest movie, a remake of 80s classic Overboard.
The pair were pictured enjoying a carnival together, with the pair both sporting baseball caps and carrying drinks as they chatted in the sunshine.
Faris, 40, wore a black T-shirt with a pair of patterned shorts, while Barrett opted for a grey T-shirt and jeans for the day.
The pictures come after Faris and Barrett — who has also worked on movies including Ted, Zookeeper and About Last Night — were seen enjoying dinner together at the same Italian restaurant two nights running.
E! News reports the couple headed to Modo Mio in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles for dinner where they shared a bottle of red wine.
An eyewitness told the outlet it looked “like a date”, adding: “They were laughing at the table.
“She looked very happy and had a smile on her face when she was leaving.”
Faris and Barrett returned to the eatery the following day, with the source saying: “It was definitely a dinner date.
“It seemed romantic in the way they were looking at one another and how they were laughing at the table ... No one in the restaurant realised it was her, but she definitely looked to be on a date.”
The dates come after Faris and Pratt — who share four-year-old son Jack together — shocked their fans by announcing their split in August.
At the time, Pratt posted on his Facebook page: “Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating.
“We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed.
“Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward.
“We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another.”
A similar post was put up on Faris’ Twitter account.
