Adam Levine’s former yoga instructor comes forward with explosive claims
Adam Levine’s yoga teacher has joined the chorus of women speaking out against him, saying his behaviour triggered “the most devastating time in my life”.
Adam Levine’s former yoga instructor has alleged the singer sent her an X-rated text while he was in a relationship.
Alanna Zabel, who runs a yoga and clothing company in California, has become the fourth woman in 24 hours to allege the Maroon 5 frontman sent flirty texts despite his relationship status.
Zabel, who said she trained Levine, 43, from 2007 until 2010, took to her Instagram story with the hashtag #ExposeAdamLevine, before claiming his behaviour toward her triggered a “life changing moment” and ultimately turned into one of “the most devastating times of my life”.
She claimed Levine sent her a sexual text out of the blue when he was dating cocktail waitress, Becky Ginos, whom he was with from 2006 until 2009.
“One day he texted me saying ‘I want to spend the day with you naked.’ I was in the bath but my jealous ex saw it and went into a rage,” Zabel began.
“I assured my ex that I was sure it was meant for Adam’s then girlfriend, Becky, and was a mistake. I texted Adam to ask if that was the case. Adam didn’t reply …”
Zabel alleged her now ex-boyfriend turned “violent” in the moment and broke her wrist.
She confided in Levine about the incident but said the US singer “iced” her out.
“Massive life changing, destructive moment, and when I told Adam he ignored it, never apologized (sic), removed me from the upcoming tour and iced me out during one of the most devastating times of my life, all from his one flirtatious text.”
Prior to the text, Zabel said Levine would “often” make flirty comments, including telling her she “had the best ass in town.”
The pair appeared in a YouTube video together uploaded in 2011, in which Zabel can be seen guiding Levine through a yoga workout.
Levine, who is expecting his third child with supermodel wife Behati Prinsloo, released a statement on Wednesday after three women came forward alleging he sent them inappropriate texts.
Instagram model Sumner Stroh kicked off the allegations, claiming they had a one-year affair, which Levine denied.
“I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life,” Levine said in an Instagram statement.
He said “in certain instances, it became inappropriate,” adding that he has “addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family.”
“My wife and my family is all I care about in this world.”
It comes after Stroh’s viral TikTok video was posted on Tuesday, in which she claimed she had been in a secret affair with Levine and that, after it ended, he had contacted her to say he planned to name his next child after her.
“Embarrassed I was involved with a man w[ith] this utter lack of remorse and respect,” she captioned the TikTok.
The bombshell allegations come just days after Levine’s wife Prinsloo confirmed the couple were expecting their third child. Levine and the 34-year-old Namibian model have been married since 2014.
