A tanned George Clooney steps out with new girlfriend Amal Alamuddin

HE didn’t stay single for long. George Clooney is back off the market and looks happy with his new love interest, British lawyer Amal Alamuddin.

A new girl and a holiday or two seems to be working wonders for George Clooney.

AFTER being pictured on a Tanzanian safari together, George Clooney and new girlfriend Amal Alamuddin hit New York on Tuesday night.

The pair were seen leaving the swanky Carlyle Hotel on the Upper East Side and jumping into a waiting SUV on their way to dinner. Clooney was sporting an impressive tan and was wearing a suit and scarf while Alamuddin wore a pink jacket over her black outfit.

Alamuddin, 36, is an Oxford-educated lawyer, specialising in international law. In 2011, she started representing WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

The 52-year-old actor and the barrister were first spotted in London together last October and recently returned from a safari in Tanzania, which explains the tan. They have also been spotted vacationing together in the Seychelles.

A source told People of Clooney and his latest love interest, “He’s with someone who is a very accomplished attorney. She isn’t someone who is pursuing a career in acting or entertainment … She’s on his level.”

Last month, Clooney brought Alamuddin to a screening of his latest film at the White House. He previously dated former professional wrestler Stacy Keibler, who recently tied the knot with tech entrepreneur Jared Pobre and is rumoured to be expecting her first child.

The Monuments Men star is in New York, sources say, for a meeting surrounding his Casamigos tequila brand with Rande Gerber.
