Former Neighbours star Holly Valance and her billionaire property developer husband Nick Candy have added another luxury home to their bulging property portfolio.

Their latest buy comes in the form of a historical and heritage listed mansion in the exclusive Oxfordshire area of the Cotswolds in the UK.

While the couple have remained hush on the price, the Daily Mail reports it’s “well over” AU$18.6m. However, it last traded for £8m (AU$14.9m) in 2012.

The staggering seven-bedroom property has its own chapel, as well as a stunning pool, stables, tennis and squash courts. It’s also near the renowned Soho Farmhouse where Meghan Markle famously held her three-day hen’s party before marrying Prince Harry in 2018.

“We have been looking for years to get something in the Cotswolds for the family, and finally, a year ago, we found a gorgeous family home in a wonderful village,” said Candy.

The affluent Cotswolds area covers six counties including Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Somerset is known for its historical towns, historical mansions and rolling country landscapes. A popular tourist destination, several celebrities and high-profile personalities have also bought in the area including, model Kate Moss, singer Lily Allen, actor Hugh Grant, as well as David and Victoria Beckham.

Their multimillion-dollar acquisition comes as Candy listed his Hyde Park penthouse on the market in April this year. Holding the record as the UK’s most expensive apartment at £175b (or AU$325b), The Sun reported that the two storey home was 18 times bigger than the average home in England and boasts a 21m swimming pool, private spa and wine room with space for 750 bottles.

Valance is best known for playing Felicity “Flick” Scully in Neighbours from 1999 to 2002 and for her viral hit ‘Kiss Kiss in 2002. The actor and model has also appeared on Prison Break and Entourage, and even made a surprise appearance as the guests of Princess Eugenie’s wedding in 2018.

Despite this, Valance has largely kept a low profile since relocating to London in 2012.
