Grant Denyer and wife Cheryl welcome second child

GRANT Denyer and his wife Cheryl have welcomed their second child together, and the Family Feud host admits he was a “blubbering mess” during the birth.

GRANT Denyer and his wife Cheryl have welcomed their second child together, a daughter named Scout Una Denyer.

The Family Feud host revealed their healthy baby girl was born on September 17 at Orange Base hospital in NSW, weighing 3.26kgs.

“Everything about it was perfect. There were definitely tears,” the 38-year-old told Woman’s Day magazine, adding that he was a “blubbering mess” at the time of her arrival.

“You need to see it before you believe it. So once Scout was actually here, I was completely overwhelmed and I couldn’t help but start bawling.”

Grant and Cheryl, who have been married for five years, are already parents to four-year-old daughter Sailor.

“Sailor wanted a baby brother named Freeda, so when we told her she had a sister and her name was Scout, she wasn’t very happy at first,” Cheryl told the magazine.

The TV presenter added of their new bundle of joy: “She’s been our little secret for the past three weeks and it’s so good to finally be able to share our joy with our family and friends.”

The couple announced they were expecting their second child together in April. “Chezzi and I are over the moon to be expanding our gorgeous little family,” Denyer said.

“We are extremely excited about welcoming a new brother or sister for Sailor to go through life with together. Its just the best news in the world.”

Congratulations to the Denyers!
