Fatman Scoop has a message for Scott Morrison

US RAPPER Fatman Scoop has personally reached out to Australia’s new PM following a bizarre tweet from parliament.

Fatman Scoop, the US rapper behind an expletive-ridden song featured in the bizarre clip tweeted by our new prime minister has responded in the best possible way.

Taking to Instagram tonight, the hip-hop artist declared he was “humbled” by the act and even sent an open invitation to ScoMo to join him backstage as his guest at RNB Fridays Live, promoted as Australia’s biggest RNB Party.

“I am humbled to have my voice rocking in the highest offices of the Australian Government!” Fatman Scoop wrote in a message posted alongside the PM’s since-deleted video package.

“I was on a flight to London while all of this was happening and I am on the ground now! Just seeing all of it!”

The rapper added: “I am inviting @scottmorrisonmp to come to R&B Fridays @rnbfridayslive as my guest in November to watch, dance, and after in the backstage area discuss politics with me.

“I don’t have to agree with your policies but we can have spirited DEBATE about them and you can attempt to walk me through why you think like that.”

Mr Morrison caused an uproar on social media this week after posting a cringe-worthy 11-second clip from Question Time showing MPs raising their hands in synch, with Fatman Scoop’s 2006 track Be Faithful playing in the background.

“QT was on fire today,” he captioned the video with the fireball emoji, which was posted to the prime minister’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts on Thursday evening before taken down.

The suggestive lyrics were not included in the clip, but the full song contains six uses of the word “f**k”, as well as other expletives.

Despite being removed from all social media accounts, the unfortunate meme can still be easily found online.

Mr Morrison later apologised for using the sexually charged track, saying he didn’t realise what the full lyrics of the song were.

“The full lyrics of the song used in my earlier video from QT today were just not OK.

When I found out, I asked the team to take it down. Apologies,” he tweeted.

In his extraordinary response, Fatman Scoop defended his famous NSFW lyrics, saying: “People! Its a fun PARTY SONG that has no NEGATIVITY or HARM in it!!”.

The 46-year-old DJ added: “As an American, I have to be APOLITICAL because I don’t know the politics, but I can say this:

“Its a humbling experience to be recognised by a high official (either Scott or his people thought of me)

“I just don’t know why they took it down!

“So someone tag @scottmorrisonmp up and tell him I’m waiting for him to accept my invite!”

Fatman Scoop didn’t have to wait too long for an answer. ScoMo has already responded the rapper, saying he will gladly take him up on the backstage pass offer.

“Definitely keen for R&B Fridays,” the Aussie PM tweeted, adding: “Btw, probably best to send me the PG radio version next time.”

Mr Morrison’s awkward use of the song could prove to be invaluable promotion for Fatman Scoop’s Aussie tour in November, where he is scheduled to play shows in five capital cities.
