Multiple women have come forward to accuse the model’s estranged husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard, of sexual misconduct.
Emily Ratajkowski’s estranged husband Sebastian Bear-McClard is facing accusations of sexual misconduct, grooming, and assault related to multiple young women.
Bear-McClard and the actress – who share two-year-old son Sylvester Apollo Bear – announced their separation in 2022 after marrying in 2018 following just two weeks of dating.
According to a new report in Variety, the film producer is now at the centre of a number of disturbing allegations, including by an anonymous woman from a lower-income background who claims she was only 17 when he contacted her on Instagram and offered her a role in his movie, Good Time.
The young actress alleges that on the day of filming, she found herself naked and standing in front of nearly a dozen male cast and crew members.
Her distress allegedly worsened when she was made to do a scene with an actor who had recently been released from prison.
In a statement, the alleged victim added that she “was utterly stunned and felt terrified”.
“My distress only worsened when out of nowhere, [an actor] whispered in my ear if ‘he could stick it in’ while the cameras rolled. I said, ‘No.’”
Bear-McClard was later fired from the Safdies production company, who told Variety: “The Elara team were made aware of Sebastian McClard’s behaviour in July 2022. They took immediate action and terminated him.”
Another woman claimed she met the filmmaker during production on Uncut Gems when she was 18 and he was still in a relationship with Ratajkowski.
The woman claimed he started “grooming” her on Instagram, with Bear-McClard making promises of career opportunities.
The woman alleged that they ended up meeting in the apartment he shared with his model wife, where they “started kissing”.
“Things escalated and then, without asking for my consent, Sebastian inserted himself inside me without using a condom,” she claimed.
The same woman also alleged that Bear McClard began messaging a 15-year-old girl on Instagram who had visited the set of the movie.
She claimed that when she confronted him about it, he “appeared pleased with himself” and “laughed” at her comment.
“He did not deny my accusations,” she said.
A spokesperson for Bear-McClard said the producer declined to comment on the allegations, Variety reported.
