“It kind of floored me, and I can’t see anything. I can’t read anything, I can’t watch anything. There’s hope and encouragement that it will be okay. But I’m kind of stuck in the moment, going into the studio and recording, I don’t know. Because I can’t see a lyric for start.”
Elton first gave an insight into his vision problem with a post on social media back in September, when he revealed that he was suffering from a serious optic infection that left him with limited vision in one of his eyes.

The documentary which is directed by Elton’s husband, the filmmaker David Furnish, and celebrated documentarian, RJ Cutler, takes a close up at The Rocketman’s 50 year career, culminating in his last North America show at the Dodger Stadium in 2022.
