Dua Lipa has been slammed for jetsetting around the world after telling fans to stay home

After Dua Lipa urged fans to stay home because of the pandemic, she jetsetted around the world with her boyfriend, who won’t take the COVID vaccine – and people aren’t happy.

Dua Lipa has been ignoring her own rules during the global pandemic, and it’s not sitting well with fans.

The star, 25, has been jetsetting around the world with her boyfriend Anwar Hadid, after urging her fans to stay at home and isolate.

During the first UK lockdown, the singer posted a video encouraging people to help stop the spread of coronavirus by staying indoors.

“PSA – STAY AT HOME” she wrote with a heartbreak emoji.

Now, nine months following that tweet and Dua has been flying around, most recently to Mexico with her significant other, despite cases and deaths soaring in both the UK and the US.

One fan pointed out that not only is she hopping on planes around the world, but her boyfriend Anwar is an anti-vaxxer.

“The way she tweeted this then jetted around the world, during a global pandemic, with her Anti-Vax boyfriend.”

Another added: “Needless travel, weather within guidelines or not, puts us all at risk of infection. Use a little common sense ffs.”

Many fans also pointed out that her holiday pals weren’t social distancing at all in any of the pics shared to Instagram.

Dua moved to the States last year to be closer to her boyfriend Anwar, 21.

Trips abroad are allowed for important work purposes or other legally permitted seasons.

The backlash comes after Anwar recently revealed to fans in a Q&A that he won’t be getting a COVID vaccine.

He wrote on Instagram: “Either I just don’t get it or I get it (coronavirus).

“And god willing heal from and get antibodies rather than do that process unnaturally, our bodies are made by the creator to do way more than we think.”

The move didn’t sit well with a lot of people who labelled him an anti-vaxxer.

Anwar, who suffers from Lyme disease, insisted that he isn’t, however would rather assess each vaccine individually to see the side effects it could have on his own immune system.
