President Donald Trump says he’s considering revoking longtime nemesis Rosie O’Donnell’s US citizenship.

“Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship,” Mr Trump wrote via Truth Social on Saturday.

“She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA,” the president concluded the social media screed.

Not to be outdone, the former talk show host, 63, fired back with a round of her own social media posts.

O’Donnell wrote that she stands “in direct opposition all [sic] he represents,” noting that “so do millions of others” and asked “u gonna deport all who stand against ur eveil tendencies.”

“I’m here in Ireland. And it’s beautiful and warm — not physically. It’s actually quite cold,” she told fans in a TikTok video at the time. O’Donnell divulged that she left the US on January 15, just days before Mr Trump took office.

“I’m trying to find a home here in this beautiful country and when it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that’s when we will consider coming back,” the actress said in part, adding that it’s been “heartbreaking” for her to see “what’s happening politically and hard for me personally as well.”

“The personal is political, as we all know,” she said.
