Diddy joked about locking up women in old interview resurfaced in wake of sex trafficking scandal

A video of the rap mogul joking about locking women in at his infamous parties has resurfaced along with his “kinky” list of party must-haves.

A joke Diddy made during a talk show appearance in 2002 has not aged well.

Amid the controversy surrounding his arrest for sex trafficking and racketeering this week is a resurfaced video of the rap mogul joking about locking women in at parties he hosts.

In the interview aired on the Late Night With Conan O’Brien in 2002, Diddy was asked by O’Brien for his tips on throwing a “killer party” – and the rap mogul coughed up this advice:

“This is what you need to do. Women. Beautiful women, of course. Beautiful men for the ladies, of course,” the rapper began.

“You need some water. I don’t know if guys have noticed this but a lot of ladies drink water at parties, so if you don’t have what they need, they’re going to leave. Gotta keep them there. Need locks on the doors.”

Diddy offered his ‘kinky’ party advice on Late Night With Conan O’Brien back in 2002.

When O’Brien said that sounded “kinda dangerous”, Diddy admitted that he liked his parties “a little kinky”.

“You need a lot of heat. Don’t have no airconditioning. Heat affects the alcohol but everybody also gets a little more comfortable and loose … builds up a nice little sweat,” he added.

O’Brien said it now “just sounds disgusting” as Diddy added his final “ingredients”.

“You need good music and you need me, of course,” he concluded.

The rapper said you need ‘locks on the doors’ at parties to ‘keep them there’.

Fast forward 22 years and sordid details have emerged surrounding Diddy’s parties, which allegedly contained “freak offs” – elaborate sex performances Diddy “arranged, directed, masturbated during, and often electronically recorded”.

One drug dealer told the New York Post that he saw household-name celebrities having sex with each other when he attended one of Diddy’s parties at his East Hampton mansion.

“Weird sh*t was starting to happen. Celebrity guys f***ing each other. There were back bedrooms and it was like the inner sanctum,” the dealer told the outlet. “You’d see two people you would not think would be hooking up, rappers, that was what shocked me.”

“I won’t say names but there were rappers that I immediately lost respect for and could not take seriously ever again.

The dealer said many people at the party, which he said included “a mix of [female rappers] and hookers”, were allegedly high on ketamine and GHB.

“That was when I got the f**k out of there,” he said before noting that he did not see Diddy partake in any sexual activity at the event.
