Earlier on Friday the 911 call made from Lovato’s house was released by TMZ , with the person on the phone requesting the ambulance arrive “with no sirens, please”.
The 911 dispatcher denied the request, explaining it was a “medical emergency” and they “didn’t have control over that”.
Before the ambulance arrived Lovato was given Narcan, a drug used to reverse the effects of overdoses.
In March this year Lovato celebrated six years of sobriety after a well-documented battle with substance abuse and eating disorders in her teens.
But just four months later the former Disney star revealed she had relapsed in a song called Sober.
