Deborra-Lee Furness has reportedly been offered a huge sum to dish the dirt on her messy split with Hugh Jackman.

Deborra-Lee Furness has reportedly been inundated with offers to write a tell-all book on her split from Hugh Jackman.

Since annoucing their separation after 27 years of marriage in September 2023, Jackman and Furness had both been maintaining a dignified silence.

But that all changed with Furness’ blistering public statement this week, issued to tabloid outlet Daily Mail. In it, Furness, 69, spoke of experiencing a “traumatic journey of betrayal” that “cut deep”.

An insider has now revealed that book publishers are clamouring to sign Furness on the dotted line for a tell-all on her former marriage.

“Deborra-Lee has been flooded with very tempting book offers,” an insider told the Daily Mail.

“As soon as their break-up was announced, Deborra-Lee was inundated with mega-deals to write the truth about what it was like behind closed doors with Hugh.”

Despite the influx of offers, Furness is thought to be remaining quiet at least for the time being.

The reports come after Furness said the “breakdown” of the couple’s marriage had been “a profound wound”, but also suggested she was better off single.

“It can hurt, but in the long run, returning to yourself and living within your own integrity, values and boundaries is liberation and freedom,” she said.

Meanwhile, Jackman’s close pal recently shared what’s been going on behind the scenes since Furness’ bombshell statement.

“No one wants anyone to go through what he is, and he is going through it publicly because of his fame,” Gus Worland said during an interview on 2GB’s Ben Fordham Live on Thursday.

“One thing I have been really strict on is to let Hugh and Deborra-Lee do what they have had to do. I was over in New York with him last month and he is fine. He is going along well.”

Worland went on to add that Jackman is busy enjoying his new life with girlfriend Sutton Foster, 50, whom he met while still married to Furness.

“He is moving on with his life. I hope Deb does as well. They were together for 30 years and have two beautiful kids together,” he said. “I go to their kids and ask them what we can do to make sure they get through this as best as possible.”
