DANIEL MacPherson and Zoe Ventoura have opened up about their private wedding and have revealed their honeymoon plans.

DANIEL MacPherson and Zoe Ventoura have spilled a few details about their secretive wedding.

The acting duo tied the knot in Noosa two weeks ago and didn’t publicly reveal the nuptials until a few days later on Instagram.

Speaking to news.com.au on the red carpet at the AACTA awards last night, 35-year-old MacPherson said the big day was everything he’d hoped for.

“It was really special,” he said.

“We had a small group of family and friends, we lured them up to Queensland and it was wonderful. And the day after we were all at the surf club having a bit of a recovery afternoon and that was equally awesome.”

Ventoura, 34, who played Melissa in Packed to the Rafters, admitted that one or two things slipped her mind before the big day, such as a wedding gift.

What a stunning couple.

“I thought, ‘Oh god, are we meant to buy gifts for each other?’ And then it happened so fast and before I knew it, it was the day and I was like, ‘Oops.’

“But he didn’t get me one either so it was fine.”

The happy couple also revealed their honeymoon plans.

“The honeymoon will be next year,” MacPherson said.

“We’re going to just chill out in Australia until January and then we’ll go back to LA. For us to be in the same place, particularly at home in Australia together, is a little bit unusual actually.”

Ventoura added, “We’re just going to enjoy catching up with family and friends for now. We’re aiming for a European honeymoon in the middle of next year but you never know what work’s going to come up.”
