CHELSEA Handler has made a right ass of herself, all in the name of politics.

The 41-year-old comedian took to social media to express her thoughts on Republican presidential front runner Donald Trump, while lacking any form of subtlety — or clothing.

Topless, with her jeans lowered towards her thighs to expose her buttocks, the former Chelsea Lately host bent over slightly to reveal her G-string clad bootie to camera, accompanied by the message, “Trump is a butt hole”.

“A germane tweet. I mean this with the utmost disrespect,” she posted alongside the image on Twitter. While on Instagram, she wrote, “Sometimes we swim above water and somethings we swim on the sea floor. I’ll meet you wherever you are.”

Handler has been on the Trump warpath in recent weeks, but it seems like she might have received divine inspiration from an earlier post.

On Sunday, while travelling in Mexico, Handler tweeted an image of herself beside a papier mache version of Mr Trump, with a rope around his neck alongside the caption: “Spent my day in Aguascalientes trying to find a good tree for this asshole”.

Mr Trump has made numerous offensive public statements during his run for high office, but last week, during a town hall debate in Wisconsin, Mr Trump said women who undergo abortions should be punished.

In an interview with Chris Matthews from US cable network MSNBC, Mr Trump declared he was pro-life.

Mr Matthews: “Do you believe in punishment for abortion, as a principle. Yes or no?”

Mr Trump: “The answer is that there has to be some form of punishment.”

Mr Matthews: “For the woman?”

Mr Trump: “Yeah.”

No word on yet on whether Mr Trump plans his own nude reply, but we’d rather wait on that one.
