KIM Kardashian is reminiscing about younger, skinnier days as she confessed that an old picture has encouraged her to hit the treadmill.

“Throwback to a few years ago #SkinnyDays #OnTheTreadmillRightNOW,” she captioned the picture.

Kardashian lost 20 kilos after having baby North West last year, saying she adopted the Atkins diet, which is basically a diet of high protein and fat but low in carbohydrates.

She revealed to People magazine that she was ready for a change of diet once North came along.

“My entire pregnancy I only ate carbs. I craved plain bread, which was odd for me. So to cut it out completely was a challenge, but I was mentally ready for it!”

She said for breakfast she would have a two egg omelet with cheese and spinach, while for lunch she would eat grilled salmon with asparagus and a side salad.

Kardashian would allow herself turkey meat with cheese and Greek yoghurt, berries and almonds in the afternoon and for dinner it would be chicken breast with broccoli and a leafy green salad.
