Kate Beckinsale is seemingly on a quest to find out if blondes really do have more fun.

The Van Helsing actress, 45, took to Instagram on Monday with a selfie that showed off her new short, blonde hairdo.

“Monday. Back to it. Welcome to my armpits #jolt,” she captioned the post, which showed her in lacy, pink top.

“Kinda fun being blonde isn’t it?” TV personality Lisa Rinna commented.

“Love the hair,” said another.

“Seriously … is there ever a time you just don’t look amazing?” a third asked.

It’s not clear if Beckinsale’s new hair is permanent; the Daily Mail reports the actress may be donning a wig for her upcoming film, Jolt. The actress referenced the movie in her caption as well.

Beckinsale recently made headlines when she clapped back at an internet troll who took issue with the way she dresses after she posted a photo of herself in workout clothes.

While the actress received many positive comments from fans — “I wish I was as gorgeous as you,” said one, while another simply wrote “beautiful” — at least one person took aim at Beckinsale.

“(You) dress like a (sic) teenage but (you’re) an older lady,” they wrote, adding a “laughing” and “thumbs-down” emoji.

Beckinsale was then quick to reply with a sarcastic comeback.

“Hahaha omg you’re a hoot can we hang out,” she wrote.

Beckinsale is no stranger to trolls — or to putting them in their place.

When she was dating Pete Davidson, who is 20 years her junior, the British bombshell was bombarded with comments about the age gap.

The criticism saw Beckinsale briefly delete her Instagram account.

Beckinsale even received comments from other celebrities, with comedian David Spade taking a dig at the age gap between the actress and Davidson.

Back in March, Beckinsale hit back at Spade in response to his comment on a picture of herself playing with a cheetah cub.

“You like them young!” he joked, apparently referencing Davidson. “(Now don’t fight back and roast me just quietly stew and take the hit.)”

“@Davidspade never gonna happen grandpa,” she responded.

Beckinsale and Davidson split in April.
