Justin Bieber cancels future $2000 meet and greets on tour, saying fans “drained” and “depressed” him
JUSTIN Bieber has cancelled $2000 meet-and-greets after just eight shows on his new tour, saying the energy of cashed-up fans was draining him.
JUSTIN Bieber has cancelled $2000 meet and greets on his latest tour as his cashed-up fans are leaving him “drained” and “depressed”.
Bieber was charging fans up to $2000 for a quick chat and a one-on-one selfie on his Purpose tour.
For around $1000 fans could get a group photo with the superstar.
However, just eight shows into his Purpose tour Bieber told fans he’s axing any future chance to pay to meet him.
Fans were already complaining about Bieber looking “bored” and having “dead eyes” in the photos that resulted from the lucrative meet and greets.
“I enjoy meeting such incredible people but I end up feeling so drained and filled with so much of other people’s spiritual energy that I end up so drained and unhappy,” Bieber wrote on Instagram.
“Want to make people smile and happy but not at my expense and I always leave feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point of depression. The pressure of meeting people’s expectations of what I’m supposed to be is so much for me to handle and a lot on my shoulders. Never want to disappoint but I feel I would rather give you guys the show and my albums as promised. Can’t tell you how sorry I am, and wish it wasn’t so hard on me. And I want to stay in the healthy mindset I’m in to give you the best show you have ever seen ;)”
Fans who bought the meet and greet tickets for future shows will presumably have their money refunded.
The fact that Hayley and Taylor did a meet and greet for over 1,000 people and Justin Bieber can't do however many cause it's "tiring" lol

Yesterday Idolator reported meet-and-greets were going to be amended after a “security incident” and fans would have to settle for a “VIP hangout where both pics and videos can be taken of Justin, just no longer a group pic with him.” However for those who paid top dollar hoping for a photo with Bieber the company offering the VIP packages told fans: “Please note that there are no partial refunds, so you would also be forfeiting your ticket in exchange for your money back.”

When the meet and greet packages were announced last year fans grumbled about the high prices, creating the hashtag #justiceforbrokebeliebers
One fan tweeted “Justin: wants people to treat him like a normal person but wants $2000 for a selfie.”
The top price package included the selfie, a backstage tour and official tour plaque.
The Purpose tour started in Seattle on March 9 and travels through the US and Canada before a UK leg starts in August.
why does Justin bieber look dead in the eyes in all those meet and greet photos

Bieber tours the UK and Europe until the end of November, meaning a possible Australian leg may not happen until early 2017.
It is not the first time Bieber has tested the patience of his fans — he told fans in Melbourne last year to stop singing along loudly while he was singing acoustically as they were drowning him out.

He also posted a Snapchat video before arriving in Melbourne warning fans about the protocol in approaching him for a photo.
“If you start screaming louder, that’s not going to make me want to take a photo more,” he said in the Snapchat video.
“The way you ask or approach me when you want a photo with me is going determine if I take a photo or not. If I’m walking somewhere or arriving somewhere and you guys are asking me to take a photo if I don’t respond, if I continue to keep walking, the likelihood is that I probably don’t want to take a photo at that moment.”

“If you start screaming louder that’s not going to make me take a photo more.
“I want to enjoy the moment like you’re enjoying the moment but I can’t enjoy it if I’m not feeling there’s any respect given to me that moment.
“Usually the chances are I’ll take a photo but if perhaps I don’t or I’m not in the mood to take a photo that moment, please just respect me and just treat me the way you want to be treated.
“Honestly I’d rather stand there and talk to you there for five minutes and not take any photos ... us have that moment without the chaos.
“It’s like why did you travel to see me in the first place, was it really to see me or was it to get that moment of you seeing me so you could tell people about it?
“Just remember I’m not unattainable unreachable I’m just like you and I communicate just like you, so next time remember.”
