Jessica Simpson drops 45kg post pregnancy
Jessica Simpson has revealed her impressive post-baby body transformation, admitting she once tipped the scales at 110kg.
Jessica Simpson showed off her incredible 45-kilogram weight loss nearly six months after she and husband Eric Johnson welcomed their third child, daughter Birdie Mae.
“6 months. 100 pounds (45kgs) down (Yes, I tipped the scales at 240 pounds)” the pop star, 39, captioned a pic of herself showing off her slim figure in a long black dress. “My first trip away from #BIRDIEMAE and emotional for many reasons, but so proud to feel like myself again.”
Simpson added that while there were times she wanted to give up, she remained determined.
“Even when it felt impossible, I chose to work harder,” she said.
The Take My Breath Away singer attributed her success to her longtime trainer, Harley Pasternak, who also shared his congratulations for Simpson’s tremendous trim-down.
“Beyond proud of this incredible woman,” the celeb trainer wrote. “Been working together for over 12 years and she’s always the most warm, sweet, polite, and respectful person in the world. And on top of it all, after being non-stop pregnant for as long as I can remember, she’s down 100 pounds and looks younger today than she was when we met.”
Plenty of Simpson’s VIP pals also congratulated the mum-of-three for sharing her weight loss journey.
“Wowza lady,” January Jones wrote.
“You look amazing!!!,” Katie Couric said.
“Gorgeous !!!!!,” Kyle Richards added.
Simpson and Johnson, 40, also share 7-year-old daughter Maxwell Drew and 6-year-old son Ace Knute. The couple got married in July 2014.
