Inside Miranda Kerr’s lavish engagement party

PICTURES of Miranda Kerr’s swanky Bel Air engagement party have surfaced on social media — but it seems she’s not too happy about it.

MIRANDA Kerr celebrated her engagement to Snapchat billionaire Evan Spiegel at an ultra-private party in Bel Air on Saturday night.

The Gunnedah-born model and her beau celebrated their upcoming nuptials at the Bel Air hotel — where rooms go for a cool $865 per night — with friends and some of Kerr’s Australian connections believed to have making the trip Stateside for the evening.

And while the celebration was at first kept off social media, it’s only taken a couple of days for a cache of intimate and candid snaps from the event to surface, thanks to guests sharing pics on their social channels.

Kerr’s pal Chloe Bartoli, seen here with the model, deleted this pic from her Instagram.

However, just as quickly the snaps were deleted, suggesting Kerr and Spiegel didn’t want any photos from their Bel Air soiree to surface.

Unfortunately for them, the internet is forever, and the snaps were saved by many before they were deleted by guests including Miranda’s mother Therese and her stylist pals, Chloe and Mary-Lou Bartoli.

Mary-Lou Bartoli posted this collection of snaps from the party on Instagram — but soon took them down.

Speaking about the proposal earlier this year, Kerr said she wasn’t expecting him to pop the question.

“Absolutely not. He said to me, ‘Miranda, I’m telling you now, this is the first and last time I’m going to kneel down in front of you,’

“I was terribly nervous and emotional, trembling with happiness,” she explained.

The 33-year-old mother-of-one has been dating Spiegel, seven years her junior, since June last year. After 13 months of dating and the purchase of Harrison Ford’s former home in May, the tech entrepreneur popped the question.

Therese Kerr posted this pic from the party with her daughter — but it didn’t last long.

Their wedding, which is expected to take place next year, will be his first and her second. The Gunnedah-born beauty was previously married to British actor Orlando Bloom, with whom she has son, five-year-old Flynn.

The supermodel said that her beau and her son share a special bond.

“They have so much fun together. Evan is really great with him. They love doing arts and crafts and building projects together.”
