AS HUGH Jackman continues to tear through his bucket list, the buff actor may have just come face to face with a physique to rival his own.

Jackman, who has been holidaying in Florence with wife Deborra-Lee Furness, posted a photo of himself in front of Michelangelo’s statue of David at the Gallery of the Academy art museum. He captioned the image: “Another check off the bucket list. #Florence #Ciao #Bella”

The 4-metre statue is arguably the world’s most famous sculpture and a highly popular tourist attraction. It was created between 1501 and 1504.

Earlier in the week, Jackman posted pictures from a bike ride with Furness, posing on the banks of the river Arno, with the Ponte Vecchio in the background as well as with some fun public art he found along the way. The down-to-earth couple were making the most of the quiet early mornings, “before the world wakes up”.

The muscular actor was all sport on top – with racing shades and helmet – and business on the bottom, appearing to be cycling in a pair of suit trousers.

Jackman and his family have been based in London, while he works on the upcoming movie Pan, in which he plays the pirate Blackbeard.
