BRITNEY Spears has faced a fan backlash after many social media users accused her of faking her latest stunning Instagram snap.

The 34-year-old mother of two posted a gorgeous poolside pic on Instagram yesterday, showing a trim, taut figure as she lay ‘just chilling’ by the pool.

Before long, though, fans were poring over the image and claiming that the area around Spears’ unusually tiny midsection showed signs of retouching.

“Fire your retoucher,” wrote one fan, while another commented: “Photoshop extremo.”

“Photoshopped but that’s OK. Still pretty. A blur by her rib and if you look at the gab between her butt & back there’s water where it should be slate,” wrote another user.

Others pointed out that Spears also appears to be missing her bellybutton in the pic.

Britney’s ultra-taut figure shows many signs of retouching, some fans say.

Others were quick to defend the singer, pointing out that her gruelling schedule performing in her Piece Of Me Vegas residency was the sole cause of her super-toned bod.

If Brit has been tinkering with her pics before posting them online, she certainly wouldn’t be the first — similarly stunning pop princess Beyonce has been caught out on several occasions apparently making tweaks to her candid snaps before sharing them with fans.
