Eagle-eyed Taylor Swift fans believe they’ve already found evidence a famous celebrity feud continues with her new album.

Taylor Swift fans believe they’ve already spotted subtle digs at her famous rivals — Kim Kardashian and Kanye West — on her newly announced album.

At the 2022 VMA Awards Swift announced a new album, Midnights, while accepting the award for Video of the Year for her All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version” short film.

She followed this up with a tweet announcing an October 21 release date, sharing an image of the cover photo and a blurb for the album alongside the captions “Midnights, the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life, will be out October 21. Meet me at midnight” — plus a pre-order link.

Fans swear they’ve already noticed a few subtle digs keeping the beef alive against rivals Kardashian and West, and have taken to TikTok to share their theories.

The Midnights album is set to be released on Kardashian’s birthday, which fans believe was intentional.

One TikTokker uploaded a video of herself laughing with the caption: “Did anyone realise October 21 is Kim’s bday? This woman is on another level”.

Yesterday’s announcement also happened to be the one-year anniversary of West’s last album DONDA, which received mixed views.

As one TikTokker noted: “Taylor is so real for holding a grudge against KimYe so long, because same.

“Announce TS10 [Swift’s 10th album] on DONDA’s one year anniversary? Release on Kim Kardashian’s birthday? Have [sic] it been 13 years since her mic was stolen at the VMAs”.

The fact that Swift chose to announce her new album at the VMAs — the very scene where West famously interrupted her acceptance speech and began the years long feud — didn’t escape the notice of any fans.

While this all might seem very subtle, Swift is well known for her low-key digs and references hidden in her music.
