Tate McRae spotted taking in beauty of Rottnest Island with Think Later dancers
The 21-year-old arrived in Australia on Tuesday, and was spotted on a popular holiday island soaking up the sun.
Tate McRae spent the day soaking up Perth’s sunshine at Rottnest Island with video footage showing the pop star jumping off a luxury boat into crystal-clear blue water.
The 21-year-old Canadian singer arrived in WA on Tuesday for the start of the Aussie leg of her Think Later world tour, PerthNow reported.
She will perform to thousands of fans at a sold-out concert at Red Hill Auditorium on Friday night.
On Thursday, McRae was spotted enjoying island paradise at Rotto on a boat fit for a celebrity with some of her dancers.In a video posted to dancer Maycee Steele’s Instagram story, McRae was filmed jumping off the bow of the boat and into the stunning turquoise ocean.
Steele also shared more photos and videos of the group’s trip to the popular tourist destination. One clip showed a dancer twerking and another was a panning shot of the picture-perfect scenery.
Another photo showed a heritage-listed Moreton Bay fig tree on Murray Street in the CBD, hinting at a sightseeing trip around the city earlier in the day.
McRae was last spotted at Perth Airport on Tuesday night following her arrival Down Under.
Fan Jasmine Whitehead was lucky enough to say hello and give the Exes singer gifts.
“She didn’t say much cause, we had to be quick just a hello and thank you for the gifts,” Ms Whitehead said.
In just two years and a new album, the Greedy singer’s fame has jetted off the charts across the globe, with many labelling her this generation’s Britney Spears.
She has been praised for redefining the genre of pop concerts with her high-energy dance and singing sets.
After performing in Perth, McRae will head to the east coast for shows in Brisbane on November 10, Sydney on November 12, Adelaide on November 15 and Melbourne on November 17.
