After stepping out on the red carpet for one of the year’s most anticipated films, this social media star realised she’d got something very wrong.

Star mortified over red carpet wardrobe malfunction

A social media star took to TikTok to share her awkward red carpet wardrobe malfunction this week.

Tefi Pessoa, 31, attended the glamorous premiere of the movie Dune where she wore an incredible $1500 gown by designer Silvia Astore, but only realised the next day that she hadn‘t worn it correctly at all.

The stunning dress had a big hole in the front that was intended for her leg to go through, showcasing one of her pins, but instead she just left the hole hanging:

Tefi did spot the gap at the front but assumed it was all part of the unique design of the garment.

But the following day the celebrity gossip influencer was mortified when she realised her gaffe.

In a video uploaded to her TikTok, she showed the images of herself in the dress and joked about the mistake with her fans.

She said: “Guys, I‘m freaking out. I just found out that my leg was supposed to go through the stupid freaking hole.

“Why can‘t I dress myself? I’m an adult. When I tell you that I could die … I’m gonna order pizza. I just want to apologise.

“I know that I can dress myself, if you just give me one more chance.”

The lighthearted clip has been viewed more than 3.5 million times since she posted it and fans were quick to chip in.

One said: “You know what, you made it your own.”

Another said: “From now on it is a cutout and we are rolling with that.”

While a third said: “I feel like that‘s information they should have given though.”
