Actress and former talk show queen Ricki Lake bared it all on Instagram as she posed nude in an outdoor bathtub, writing that she had come to “a place of complete self-acceptance and self love.”

In the picture, she crosses her arms over her breasts as she leans back in the open-air bath surrounded by trees, looking up at the sky with a blissful expression on her face.

“Hands down, these days are the best of my life,” the TV personality captioned her post, adding she was “54 1/2 years old (young!).”

Lake — who has been open about her struggle with hair loss over the past three years — said she was “Grateful for all that had to happen for me to get to here.”

The Hairspray star also thanked her husband, Ross — who she married in January 2022 — in the post, writing, “you make every adventure the most fun ever.”

She also gave her relaxing California location a shout-out, concluding, “Oh and #millvalley is the s**t!”

This isn’t the first time Lake has stripped down on social media, posting a photo of herself swimming in nothing but a straw hat and sunglasses in 2020.

Her journey to “self-acceptance” has been years in the making, with Lake admitting in 2020 that she’d suffered a decades-long struggle with losing her hair.

“It has been debilitating, embarrassing, painful, scary, depressing, lonely, all the things,” Lake wrote in an Instagram post revealing her hair loss, adding, “Almost no one in my life knew the level of deep pain and trauma I was experiencing.”

The Cry-Baby actress went on to shave her head, posting a video in January of the moment she went through with the cut in 2019.

“I took a brave ass leap of faith and chose to make the drastic decision to shave my head after years and years of struggling in secret w/ my androgenic hair loss,” Lake captioned the clip.

Last summer, Lake proudly showed off her regrown hair, crediting Harklinikken hair care for her new, thick locks.
