Previously unseen photo sheds new light on Demi Moore’s ‘transformation’

Fans were shocked by Demi Moore’s unusual runway appearance this week - now, a previously unseen photo sheds new light on the situation.

Actress Demi Moore’s surprise appearance on a Paris Fashion Week runway earlier this week made headlines around the world – all of them focused on her unusual new look.

The 58-year-old star looked markedly different from just months earlier, with jutting, pronounced cheekbones and a pursed pout.

The reaction on social media was swift and severe. “People are entitled to do what they want when it comes to cosmetic surgery. But … what?” asked one person on Twitter.

“I love Demi Moore but what in the world happened to her face,” said another. “WHAT DID SHE DO?”

Others theorised that no amount of make-up or contouring could’ve produced such a dramatic change of appearance – this had to be the result of drastic cosmetic surgery.

But a previously unseen photo from the event posted by Moore today suggests make-up was the cause of her unusual appearance. Here’s Moore backstage at the runway show, alongside models Kate Moss and Christy Turlington and Fendi Artistic Director Kim Jones:

Another behind-the-scenes Paris Fashion Week photo posted by fashion designer Alber Elbaz shows Moore, at right, again looking much more like herself:

So what was it – contouring? Make-up? Lighting? Moore has not yet publicly commented on the commotion about her catwalk appearance. But the star has a reputation for being remarkably candid, giving jaw-dropping details about her personal life in the 2019 autobiography Inside Out.
