New photos show famous family’s huge transformation
These new photos show even the least well-known member of the Osbourne family has undergone a huge transformation over the years.
These new photos show that even the least recognisable member of the Osbournes isn’t immune from her family’s habit of undergoing extreme transformations.
Osbourne family matriarch Sharon, 71, was seen with her eldest daughter Aimee, 40, out for dinner in Beverly Hills late last week.
Aimee famously refused to participate in the family’s groundbreaking early noughties fly-on-the-wall reality series The Osbournes, insisting that she preferred her privacy over a shot at TV fame.
These new photos show that Aimee has joined her mother and younger sister Kelly in undergoing a transformation over the years.
“Back then, I still felt I was trying to figure out who I was in the chaos of family life, so why on earth would I want that portrayed on television?” Aimee said in 2015 of her decision not to participate in the family’s reality show.
“I wanted to protect myself, my parents, my siblings, too. They were very young, very impressionable.”
The same year, Aimee confessed that she is not particularly close with her more public siblings, Kelly and Jack.
“I wouldn’t say there is an ease between us, but there is an acceptance,” she said in an interview with The Independent.
“Do we socialise? No.”
Meanwhile, Sharon has been open about the cause of her drastically altered appearance in recent years, including use of the weight loss drug Ozempic and several facelifts.
She said her fifth facelift, which she underwent in October 2021, turned out “horrendous”, and triggered her decision to stop going under the knife.
“That one put me off and it frightens me,” the wife of Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy Osbourne later told The Sun. “I really f***ing pushed it with the last facelift and I am now like, no more.
“Time is against me, I cannot have another facelift.”
Osbourne told The Sunday Times in April 2022 that the facelift had left her eyes looking uneven.
“I’m telling you, it was horrendous. I’m like, ‘You’ve got to be f***ing joking’, one eye was different,” she told the outlet. “I looked like a f***ing Cyclops. I’m like, ‘All I need is a hunchback.’”
Sharon’s son Jack showed the family have a sense of humour about his mother’s love of cosmetic surgery, telling her on the family’s joint podcast: “I thought you had, like, a two or three-year, like, tune-up. It’s like a car – every 5000 miles, Mum goes in for a tune-up.”
Daughter Kelly has been equally upfront about the cause of her dramatic transformation, revealing that she underwent “gastric sleeve” surgery which helped her lose around 40kg.
Kelly spoke out about the procedure while appearing on the Hollywood Raw with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn podcast in 2020.
“I had surgery; I don’t give a f**k what anyone has to say,” she explained.
“I did it, I’m proud of it, they can suck sh*t. I did the gastric sleeve. All it does is change the shape of your stomach. I got that almost two years ago. I will never ever lie about it ever. It is the best thing I have ever done.”
She continued: “I want to be very clear about this kind of surgery I had. I didn’t have a gastric bypass.
“The kind of surgery I had … if you don’t work out and you don’t eat right, you gain weight. All it does is move you in the right direction,” she said.
She revealed that at the same time, she’d also had a procedure to reduce pain in her jaw, which ended up also making her face appear slimmer.
Kelly, 39, said the pain relief injections “changed everything” about her face.
