From sports stars to international artists and TV hosts, the who’s who of Australia’s celebrity scene has stepped out to farewell the country’s godfather of music.

The private funeral is being held for family and friends in Melbourne before the State Memorial takes places at the Rod Laver Arena on March 24.
The Mushroom Records founder died peacefully in his sleep, aged 68, last week at his Melbourne home.

Gudinski is survived by his wife, Sue, and their children Matt and Kate and two grandchildren.
One of the last projects Gudinski was working on was to bring US streaming series Landmarks Live to Australia, showcasing major local and international artists at iconic Aussie locations.
