Megastar Sia spotted back on home turf in Australia
Iconic pop star Sia has been spotted back on home turf in Australia as she soaks up the sun Down Under.
Aussie megastar Sia has been spotted back on home turf this week enjoying the Aussie sunshine in all its glory.
The globally-renowned Australian singer and songwriter returned to her home city this month after jetting in from the US.
Sia was spotted on Tuesday at the Bird in Hand winery, nestled in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia, while she smiled and posed for pictures.
The singer had an afternoon of wining at dining, and made sure to re-immerse herself in Aussie culture by munching on some local wallaby prepared by the restaurant’s executive chef.
It marks the first time Sia has returned to Australia since she revealed to fans that she had gone under the knife for a facelift.
“I’m a pop star that normally hides my face and doesn’t lie about s**t,” Sia (whose real name is Sia Furler) told the audience at the 2023 Daytime Beauty Awards.
“I got an amazing facelift from Dr. Talei. He is incredible, and he is doing so much good work — and not just for the pop stars of the world.”
The singer added at the time that she’s been open about her procedure with friends who have complimented her appearance recently.
“I’m like, ‘Dr. Ben Talei, facelift — for, like, anything you could ever want.’ I love him. I can’t say enough good about him,” she gushed.
The notoriously private musician gave a rare personal interview in September, explaining that she’d been “severely depressed” following her 2016 divorce from her first husband, filmmaker Erik Anders Lang.
“That really threw me for a loop. That was such a dark time that I was in bed for three years, really, really severely depressed. And so I couldn’t really do anything for that period of time,” she told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe on his podcast.
The singer is now happily married again, having wed Dan Bernad in a stunning ceremony in Portofino, Italy, in May.
Meanwhile, apart from a Christmas album in 2017, Sia’s last critical and commercial success was with the 2016 album This is Acting, which debuted at number one in Australia.
