Massive music star goes fully incognito landing at Melbourne airport

Travellers at Melbourne Airport had no idea one of the biggest names in music had touched down, thanks to her incognito look.

This is one way to get around unnoticed.

Global music megastar Billie Eilish made a low-key arrival in Melbourne on Monday morning ahead of her sellout national tour.

The multi-Grammy winner, 23, went completely incognito upon touching down, walking through the international terminal among travellers unaware of the star in their midst.

Covered top-to-toe, Eilish concealed her face with a baseball cap, sunglasses and a hospital mask, and wore a hoodie, puffer jacket and pants.

The Birds of a Feather singer is set to perform 12 shows along the east coast from Tuesday as part of her Hit Me Hard And Soft world tour, kicking off with four shows at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.

She’ll then head to Sydney for four shows at Qudos Bank Arena from February 24, before finishing up at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne with a further four concerts from March 4.

Diehard Eilish fans with mosh pit tickets have already begun camping out outside Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Boondall to secure their positions as close to the stage as possible.

One person took to TikTok to show at least a dozen tents pitched outside the grounds at 10.30am on Monday, more than 24 hours before Eilish’s concert.

“We’re live laugh loving here in tent city!,” wrote @jessiesgrapejuice.

Punters are barred from camping on the venue grounds, so they’ve set up their tents offsite nearby.

Local fans of the star haven’t had to wait too long to see Eilish again, after the star last toured Australia in 2022 with her Happier Than Ever concerts.

Eilish’s Hit Me Hard And Soft tour, her seventh headlining tour, is in support of her critically acclaimed third studio album, which was released May last year.

She began the first of more than 80 shows in Canada September last year, with the final show taking place in Dublin in July.

While Eilish changes up the set list per show, the singer typically treats fans to her newer material alongside past hits including Bad Guy, When the Party’s Over and her smash hit, Oscar-winning Barbie song, What Was I Made For?.
