Madonna attends premiere of Madame X in New York
Madonna has never been one to play it safe in the fashion department, but the queen of pop has pushed the boundaries to a new level during her latest red carpet appearance.
Madonna is still as edgy as she ever has been, age be damned.
The 63-year-old pop music queen attended the world premiere of her concert tour documentary, Madame X, in New York on Wednesday.
And she dressed like the icon she has been for the better part of four decades, rocking up in a low-cut lace bustier, sunglasses, cornrow braids and a tiara that read, “F**k you”,
Her necklace also had a brazen message, reading, “Trust no b*tch”.
Madonna’s bold look featured a few of her signature pieces, including sheer fingerless gloves, a mini skirt and platform boots.
The premiere was held at The Edition Hotel in Times Square, where a swarm of fans waited to get a glimpse of the Vogue singer.
The back end of Madonna’s Madame X world tour was cancelled in March 2020, just as the pandemic began sweeping the globe.
It was the eleventh concert tour for Madonna, in support of her fourteenth studio album Madame X, which was released in 2019.
The documentary film, set to hit Paramount+ on October 8, follows the multi-Grammy award winner on tour, featuring behind-the-scenes clips and an intimate look at how she pushed through her injury battles to perform.
