Kelly Osbourne shows off ‘different’ look, three years on from weight loss surgery
The reality TV star, actress and singer has undergone a dramatic transformation, three years on from having weight loss surgery.
Kelly Osbourne has showcased her dramatically different look in a series of photos on Instagram.
The 38-year-old Masked Singer judge shared two images from the set of the reality series in the post, in which she wore a full-length black dress decorated with rhinestones and accessorised with a matching bow headband.
Kelly captioned it: “Never leave a rhinestone unturned – Dolly Parton. Yesterday was so much fun, thank you so much to everyone @maskedsingerfox.”
Fans took to the comment section to praise Kelly’s appearance, with many noting that she looked “quite different”.
As Kelly responded to one: “It’s just from weight loss. Honestly, I’ve only had Botox.”
Kelly and her boyfriend, Sid Wilson, welcomed their first child at the end of 2022, but managed to keep it a secret for weeks before her mum, Sharon Osbourne, spilled the beans on live TV.
In January, the grandmother-of-five shared the name of Kelly’s baby boy on her UK TV show The Talk, confirming the child had arrived and the family was “doing so great, so great.”
It came after Kelly underwent an image overhaul in recent years, having lost around 40kg after having secret “gastric sleeve” surgery three years ago.
Kelly opened up about her weight-loss procedure while appearing on the Hollywood Raw with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn podcast in 2020, after fans were shocked by photos of her drastic weight loss.
“I had surgery; I don’t give a f**k what anyone has to say,” she explained.
“I did it, I’m proud of it, they can suck sh*t. I did the gastric sleeve. All it does is change the shape of your stomach. I got that almost two years ago. I will never ever lie about it ever. It is the best thing I have ever done.”
Kelly continued: “I want to be very clear about this kind of surgery I had. I didn’t have a gastric bypass.
“The kind of surgery I had … if you don’t work out and you don’t eat right, you gain weight. All it does is move you in the right direction,” she said.
“What people don’t realise is, it cuts out this hormone that if you have addiction issues, it stops your craving and it makes you not emotionally eat, which is a huge problem for me.”
At the time, Kelly also revealed she had a procedure to reduce pain in her jaw, which as a side-effect gave her a slimmer face.
“I had really bad TMJ (pain in the jaw joint). One of the things they did to stop it was they gave me injections in my jaw.
“It kinda made my jaw look skinnier. That’s when people started to notice that I had really lost weight because it changed the shape of everything. I found out it’s called buckle fat. It changed everything on my face!”
