Katie Hopkins spotted at Heathrow Airport after deportation from Australia

Controversial commentator Katie Hopkins put on a brave face at Heathrow Airport after she was kicked out of Australia.

Katie Hopkins axed from Big Brother and booted from Australia

Controversial commentator Katie Hopkins was all smiles at London’s Heathrow Airport, after her swift deportation from Australia earlier this week.

The far-right commentator, 46, was sent packing over her hotel quarantine antics in Sydney ahead of a rumoured appearance on Big Brother VIP.

Hopkins was fined $1000 and booted from Australia after she boasted about flouting the rules inside hotel quarantine, claiming she had flashed quarantine workers and refused to wear a mask near them.

As her claims circulated, Seven dropped her from Big Brother, publicly distancing themselves from her, and within days she was deported from the country.

The new photos are a marked contrast from pictures earlier this week showing Hopkins at Sydney Airport, looking downcast as she prepared to board her flight home from Australia.

“The fact that she was out there boasting about breaching quarantine was appalling,” Home Affairs Minister Karen Andrews told the ABC on Monday morning.

“It was a slap in the face for all those Australians who are currently in lockdown, and it‘s just unacceptable behaviour. Personally, I’m very pleased she’ll be leaving.”

Hopkins had attracted criticism for her hotel quarantine rants since arriving in NSW, calling covid lockdowns “the greatest hoax in human history” and claiming to have put hotel quarantine workers at risk.

“I’ve been told when they bring three meals a day to the door … I have to wait 30 seconds before opening the door,” she told her followers from hotel quarantine.

“And then I can open the door but only with a face mask.”

Instead, she has said she has been “lying in wait” in the bathroom naked, sprinting to the door to “frighten the sh*t out of them [the workers] and do it naked with no face mask”.

Hopkins posted to Instagram after her deportation was announced, writing: “You may ‘deport’ the Hopkins. But you cannot silence the truth. We will fight to TAKE BACK our freedoms.”

She is expected to further detail her experience during an Instagram Live session this Friday.
