JoJo Siwa hits red carpet in midriff-baring top and leather shorts

Teen star JoJo Siwa has debuted her most glamorous look yet – flashing the flesh in an open cardigan and leather short shorts.

JoJo Siwa is all grown up.

The teen star appears to have swapped her bright wardrobe in favour of an edgier look – hitting the red carpet in her most glamorous ensemble yet.

Siwa, 18, made a statement at the KIIS FM Jingle Ball on Friday in a pair of black leather shorts and sparkling black cardigan buttoned only at the top.

In a nod to her signature style, the dancer finished the look with a statement silver bow brooch and pointed stilettos with bow detailing.

Taking to TikTok, the former Dance Moms star shared her transformation into the bold look set to Britney Spears hit Womaniser.

Fans gushed over the new look, declaring the TV personality a “fashion icon” in a series of tweets.

Siwa made headlines last month with the news she’d split from her girlfriend after they came out together in January.

Speaking on Paris Hilton’s This Is Paris podcast, Siwa revealed they recently called time on their blossoming romance.

“I have yet to talk about this officially, publicly, but we broke up,” Siwa said. “But she is literally still my best friend. I talked to her yesterday, she just got a new puppy. She’s awesome. She’s having the time of her life, I’m having the time of my life.

“I’m really lucky that I didn’t lose her completely because, you know, even though relationships end, friendships don’t have to end.

“I was very happy that it can be, because that’s all I wanted. But I’m really happy that I remember all the fun times, all the good times, and nothing bad happened, it just is the definition of a cheesy saying of ‘right person, wrong time’ and I hate cheesy sayings, but they’re true.”

The loved-up duo regularly flaunted their romance on social media over the last few months, with Prew dubbing Siwa her “soulmate” and “forever person” in a post in May.

The pair first met on a cruise ship in December 2019 and became best friends, only to start dating a year later.

Siwa, who shot to fame in 2015 as a child on the series Dance Moms before embarking on a successful solo singing career, came out in January in an Instagram live video, a month after prompting speculation over her sexuality after posting a picture of herself wearing a shirt that read “Best. Gay. Cousin. Ever”.

The Boomerang singer, who has a net worth of $18 million, told Jimmy Fallon in February that it was Prew who had encouraged her to share her sexuality with the world.

“I do have the most amazing, wonderful, perfect, most beautiful girlfriend in the whole world,” Siwa said on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

“One day I was on FaceTime with my girlfriend … And I was like, ‘I kind of just want to post this picture on my (Instagram) Story’.

“She was super encouraging, she was like, ‘do it’ and I was like, ‘all right’ and I did it.”
