Kyle Jenner used a couple of bikini photos to encourage her 196 million followers to do one simple thing, and her sneaky plan worked.

The incredible effect of Kyle Jenner’s racy bikini photos has been revealed.

Earlier this week the 23-year-old used a couple of revealing photos to capture the attention of her 196 million Instagram followers and then encouraged them to register to vote ahead of November’s US election.

“But are you registered to vote? Click the link in my bio. Let’s make a plan to vote together,” Jenner wrote in the caption.

Kylie Jenner used these photos to encourage her followers to register to vote.

The link in Jenner’s Instagram bio directed her fans to vote.org – a US voter registration site that allows US citizens to check their voter status in “30 seconds”.

And an impressive number of her followers did exactly what Jenner asked.

According to New York Magazine’s Yashar Ali, Jenner’s post led to 48,000 voter registrations and a 1500 per cent surge in traffic to vote.org.

Jenner’s not the only celeb who’s flashed some flesh in the name of voter registration.

Diplo posted a cheeky nude photo of himself overlooking a lake with the caption: “Don’t forget to register to vote.”

This Is Us star Sterling K. Brown posted a shirtless selfie and wrote in the caption: “Like what you see? There’s more where this came from.” He then added a bitly link which directed people to vote.org.

Captain America star Chris Evans also got in on the action. After he accidentally shared a photo of his … well, you know what … on Instagram, he tweeted: “Now that I have your attention … VOTE Nov 3rd!”

Voting is not compulsory in the US. In 2016, only 138 million out of 328 million voted.
