Ruby Wax, 70, shared a video of herself taking a refreshing dip into the sea while showing off her figure in a plunging swimsuit.

The American-born actor and comedian went makeup-free as she holidayed in Cape Town.

“This is where I go swimming everyday and it’s freezing,” she said in the clip.

“You freeze your a*** off but supposedly it wards off depression. I’m the living case of that.

“This is where I go, there is the beach and then I take a shower here and I always change where everybody can see me because I think if you’ve got it flaunt it.”

Giving her fans a closer look at her one piece, she added “So this is me in a swimsuit, let me suck it in, there we go … I’m never going to show it again. That’s it, that’s what I do in the morning.”

She said her studies in psychotherapy were her “life raft”, which she finds far “more exciting” than her life in television.

“If I was doing it now, it would be a tragedy,” said said.

“There would be such unhappiness, I wouldn’t come out of an institution you could visit me in there.

“I know when there’s a life raft, I jumped on that neuroscience like a mother, and it was totally exciting, more exciting than television.”
