Hollywood couple pop up at Taronga Zoo during low-key Aussie visit
The celeb power couple, who are currently residing in Sydney, have popped up at a very famous tourist spot.
Freddie Prinze Jr and Sarah Michelle Gellar have popped up at an iconic Sydney tourist spot as they continue enjoying their extended stay Down Under.
The popular Hollywood couple, who have largely gone incognito during their visit to the harbour city, both shared pictures on social media at Taronga Zoo in Mosman on Tuesday.
Prinze Jr, 48, posted to his Instagram Stories an image of himself with a koala, captioning it: “The new homie”.
Meanwhile, Gellar, 47, shared an album to her grid, featuring a similar koala shot, along with a series of other pictures which appeared to be taken at SeaLife Aquarium.
“Made some new friends,” the actress wrote alongside it.
The 90s stars, who have been married for 22 years, arrived in Australia with their two teenage children last month.
The family is reportedly basing themselves in a private home in the city over the coming weeks during filming on the next instalment in the I Know What You Did Last Summer horror franchise – titled I Never Forget What You Did Last Summer – in which Prinze Jr reprises his role as Ray Bronson.
Gellar’s character, Helen Shivers, was killed off in the original 1997 film.
The couple, who both starred in a number of major film and TV series in the late 90s and early 2000s, actually met on the set of I Know What You Did Last Summer.
They began dating three years later and tied the knot in 2002.
Prinze Jr opened up about the secret to their marriage longevity in an interview with the Oldish podcast earlier this month, explaining that they avoided paparazzi as much as possible.
“I don’t know how deliberate [others] are in trying to avoid that BS,” he said, referring to how celebrities deal with the press.
“I know how easy it’s been for us because I don’t go anywhere. I don’t go to parties. People don’t see Sarah and I out and about at the popular places.”
