Zoë Foster Blake just made the deal of her life, earning $89 million after selling her controlling stake in her Go-To skincare company.

But married to funnyman Hamish Blake, it was expected that he would somehow find a way to make the entire situation one to laugh about.

On Sunday, the TV and radio star, 39, shared a photo of himself building a fort made of sticks at home, joking that he and Zoe were “at the top of our game”.

“My wiz of a wife did a huge business deal and I am, of course, as always, super impressed by her and massively proud,” his caption began.

“ALSO, I happened to just make probably the trickiest stick fort I’ve ever made, so I guess we BOTH know what it’s like to be married to someone at the top of their game,” he finished, adding a thumbs up emoji.

As expected, fans of the couple and Hamish particularly were loving his response.

“She is a lucky woman,” one user commented.

“You can afford the good sticks now! Sweeeet,” added another.

“At least she’s still in touch with the common man with you around,” a third joked.

On Friday, news.com.au reported that the 41-year-old beauty mogul sold a 50.1 per cent share to leading beauty and wellness company BWX.

BWX, which sealed a five-year supplier deal with Chemist Warehouse Group in February, said her 2014-born company had a range of “simple, trusted and effective skincare products for the masstige market” and last year generated $36.8 million of revenue.

Masstige is a term to describe brands that are sold mass market due to their affordability but have a prestige or luxury feel.

BWX says Go-To will remain an independently operated, stand-alone, founder-led brand but will leverage its new controlling shareholder’s expertise and capability in certain areas, with Foster Blake to remain a strategic investor, chief creative officer and board director.

“The partnership represents a strategically and financially compelling opportunity for BWX to collaborate with one of Australia’s leading skincare entrepreneurs and support Go-To’s ongoing growth,” it said.

Foster Blake said her company had been seeking a partner to bring it to the next level, one that “got” its brands and point of difference.

“BWX immediately made sense. They live and breathe skincare and have a proven track record globally,” she said.

Go-To is one of Mecca’s best-selling brands.
