Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick has married a Bollywood actress in a stunning Italian ceremony just seven months after getting engaged.

The actor and Amy Jackson tied the knot in Italy’s Amalfi Coast on Saturday, August 24.

Westwick, 37, proposed to the Bollywood actress at the beginning of 2024 while they were on a ski vacation.

The actor, who played Chuck Bass on Gossip Girl, shared photos of him and Amy on his Instagram on Sunday.

“The journey has just begun,” he captioned the post, along with a ring emoji.

Amy, 32, wore a white bridal gown with a strapless design and a chic lace veil.

She also carried a bouquet of white roses in her hand and had her black hair slicked back with a full face of makeup.

Ed had on a white suit jacket and black dress pants with a black bow tie as he gazed at his new wife with adoration.

The couple stood under a flower arch, which was adorned with white roses and greenery.

They got married in a medieval castle in the hills of Italy.

This is the first marriage for both of them. However, Amy has a son from a previous relationship.

Westwick spoke with the Daily Mail about his upcoming nuptials and said that the whole journey had been “special.”

“Planning this evening has got us really excited for our wedding,” he told the outlet.

“It’s been so special to gather our friends and family to celebrate.”

Westwick chartered a five-hour boat tour around Salerno for their guests on Friday.

The night was filled with dancing which lasted into the early morning.

Ed and Amy met in 2021 at the Silverstone racetrack in England.

Ed and Amy hosted a banquet and then headed to a party with their guests, which lasted into the early hours of the morning, filled with dancing.

Westwick said it was “special to gather our friends and family to celebrate”.

The couple enjoy some silence as the sun sets on their big day.

“Ed and Amy jetted into Italy on an eight-seater private jet with their immediate family on Thursday afternoon before hosting some low-key drinks for a small group of friends in the courtyard of Castello di Rocca Cilento,” a source shared exclusively.

The wedding took place at 4:30pm on Saturday in a five-star resort.

The attendees can relax from the festivities by the pool for six hours and finish the celebrations off with a light lunch on Sunday.

In January, Ed shared a series of photos to his Instagram of him down on one knee presenting a ring to the British model.

“Hell YES,” they captioned the joint post, with a ring emoji.

The couple got engaged on a bridge in Switzerland while at a ski resort.

The actor proposed to Jackson in January 2024, in Switzerland.

Amy had her hands up on her face as she wore a white snowsuit, while Westwick rocked a gray coat and green ski pants.

Westwick isn’t the only Gossip Girl star to have got married this month.

Jessica Szohr, who played Vanessa Abrams in the drama, got married earlier this month, with some of her former co-stars in attendance.

Szohr was married at the Pine Canyon luxury golf club in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Szohr married former Vancouver Canucks ice-hockey star Brad Richardson.

As Jessica and Brad Richardson said “I do,” actress Nina Dobrev, 35, served as Jessica’s maid of honour.

Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford was also in attendance.

Jessica posted photos to her Instagram Story with the caption, “Tying the knot.”

She and Brad, a former hockey player, went public with their relationship in 2019.

The couple announced that they were expecting their first child together in 2020, and welcomed their daughter, Bowie Ella, in January 2021.
