Early Bianca Censori photos surface online

Is Bianca Censori a victim of her famous husband, as many have claimed? Or do these unearthed photos show she’s a woman who knows exactly what she’s doing?

Kanye West and Bianca Censori pulled yet another shocking stunt at yesterday’s Grammy Awards, Bianca dropping a fur coat to show off her naked body while West – and the world – watched on.

As happens virtually every time Censori leaves the house wearing very little – which is virtually every time she does leave the house – social media lit up.

“The way Bianca Censori has degrees, is smart, and had a suitable career before Kanye and somehow they met and now she walks naked in public is so sad and tragic,” one person wrote on X, citing Aussie-born Censori’s Master’s Degree from the University of Melbourne.

Another person tweeted that the “blank look” on her face suggested she was being “physically, sexually or emotionally abused”.

Another accused West of “putting Bianca through a public humiliation ritual. Sexual coercion, sadism, domination by fear.”

Here in Australia, Sky News host Rita Panahi declared Censori resembled “a victim of human trafficking’: “To me, something is very wrong with this whole dynamic,” she said.

The prevailing narrative is that Censori is an unwilling victim, forced to expose herself publicly by her controlling husband.

But unearthed photos of Censori from before she met West suggest that perhaps her rapper husband isn’t forcing her into these revealing outfits.

The photos, which have occasionally resurfaced online as Censori’s star has risen, were taken in the pre-Kanye years when she and business partner Gadir Rajab started a fashion line called Raga Malak, with Censori serving as Creative Director – and sometimes model – until she stepped down to finish her Masters degree.

The looks will be familiar to anyone who’s witnessed Censori’s recent stunts: Totally sheer, body-revealing fabrics that blur the line between fashion and full-frontal nudity.

Many of these early photos are collated in a Reddit thread which has attracted hundreds of comments.

“Yes!! I’ve been trying to say this. People acting like she’s a trafficked child,” one person wrote.

Another argued that “If anything, kanye started dressing differently after going public with her.”

Another person pointed out that “her body stocking outfits are more in line with Raga Malak aesthetics than they are with the all black leather Yeezy/Balenciaga that Kanye is doing.”

Censori certainly seems to have her family’s support in all this: Her sister Angelina shared footage of the Grammys stunt to her Instagram account yesterday, adding a fire emoji.

A source previously told Page Six that Censori considers her outfits to be “performance art.”

“Bianca has people helping her with her looks. It’s her presentation and it’s thought through,” they insisted.
