Singer Christina Aguilera is celebrating Halloween with a salute to music legend – and former co-star – Cher.

Singer Christina Aguilera is celebrating Halloween with a salute to music legend – and former co-star – Cher.

Aguilera, 42, dressed up in a salute to perhaps Cher’s most iconic look – the all-black, thonged corset she wore in the music video for her 1989 hit single If I Could Turn Back Time.

The real thing.

Cher, 77, starred alongside Aguilera in the 2010 movie musical Burlesque. “Tess & Ali 4EVER,” she captioned the post, referring to their characters in the film – and the accompanying clip showed Aguilera mouthing along to some of Cher’s dialogue from the camp classic film.

The two divas laughed off rumours that they’d feuded when they made the movie.

Aguilera starred with Cher in 2010’s Burlesque.

“I was laughing so much when I heard that because Cher and I were like old girlfriends,” Aguilera told Latina Magazine the year the film was released.

“I actually find that people who have been in the business the longest, they’re just the coolest because they don’t have anything to prove,” she continued. “So, they can leave their egos and the stupidity behind.”

The singers played Tess and Ali in the camp classic 2010 film.

Meanwhile Cher opened up in a recent interview about her latest relationship, with 37-year-old music exec Alexander Edwards.

“I hate to talk about how happy I am, but no, we have a great time together,” she told Extra. “We can talk music. We can talk about everything. He’s got a great sense of humour, he’s got the cutest son in the world, ever … We just get each other.”

But she conceded that the couple’s 40-year age gap did present a few problems.

“Sometimes I’m talking to him and he has no idea who I’m talking about … The other day, I said, ‘Do you know who, I don’t know, Clark Gable, [is]?’ Somebody said, ‘Yes, of course,’ but most of my references … He’ll look at me and go, ‘I wasn’t born yet,’” she added.
