Carrie Bickmore has stepped out looking fabulous but a detail in her outfit reveals she’s just like us.

Carrie Bickmore has committed her most relatable act yet and been spotted wearing an affordable tracksuit.

In Australia, because tall poppy syndrome is a thing, our celebrities don’t always take the aspirational Mariah Carey approach to fame. Typically, beautiful, famous people try to play down their wealth and privilege.

It’s pretty effective, but the active wear they wear is usually a dead giveaway that they aren’t like us at all.

Sure, they might come across as humble, but while the rest of us are riffling through the $3 top bin at Kmart, the celebrities are wearing a $130 design active wear shirt that was probably gifted to them.

It’s a harsh reality that we can’t ignore, but Bickmore, 43, has flipped the script, being seen wearing a Everlast tracksuit.

The brand is stocked at Kmart and you can usually nab a matching set for $60.

Our famous Aussies usually rock luxury active wear brands like P.E. Nation or Lorna Jane, where tights cost almost $100. However, Bickmore’s bucked the trend and gone affordable, and she looks great.

She also added a baseball hat and white sneakers to her little outfit. She looked, cool, casual and gorgeous.

Bickmore is currently in her single-girl era after announcing her split from partner Chris Walker in 2023.

After more than a decade together, the power couple announced they were over on Instagram in January 2023.

They released a joint statement on Instagram, stressing that they’d focus on the family they created together.

“While this is a tough time, our focus is on parenting, loving, and supporting our three amazing children, Ollie, Evie, and Addie, with everything we’ve got. They are doing great,” they wrote on Instagram.

The news was a shock because the pair had just returned from an overseas holiday in Europe with their three kids.

They’d spent several months in Europe, and Bickmore had taken time off from her high-profile gig on The Project. She later left the show and now focuses on her Hit Network radio show with Tommy Little, Carrie & Tommy.

After the trip, Bickmore revealed in July 2022 during her radio show that it wasn’t the perfect holiday but she was still glad they all went.

“It didn’t all go to plan, and there were lots of times when it was really, really hard. Living away with three kids – kids are hard enough at the best of times, and living in a new place without your support network around … Addy (Bickmore’s three-year-old daughter Adelaide) found it really hard for a long time,” she said
